GREGORY PECK DESIGN
Meet Gregory Peck by Oliver Peoples — a frame defined by restraint rather than reinvention.
The CONCEPT
This project is a lookdev exercise — an exploration of visualization rather than product design. The focus is on transparent materials and working within a specular-driven lighting,
balancing low-key and high-key setups. Classic proportions and deep acetate become a medium for light itself: controlled reflections, soft highlights, and form revealed through
contrast rather than color.
INDUSTIAL NOIR STUDIES
Exploration of form and light within a restrained, near-monochrome palette.
Color is intentionally subdued to emphasize structure, proportion, and lighting behavior.

CHROMATIC COMPRESSION
Study of optical compression and material behavior through long-focal-length perspectives.
Chromatic shifts emerge as a result of refraction, transparency, and lens interaction.

STUDIO NATURAL STUDIES
Naturalistic studio lighting focused on realistic material response and surface interaction. Shadows, contact, and color range are treated as they would behave in a physical environment.
Also, direct frontal illumination is intentionally used, drawing from paparazzi and press photography aesthetics.
MUTED CLOSEUPS
Close-range studies of material response and shading detail within a muted setup.
Focus is placed on micro-scale reflections, edges, and surface transitions.
